"This photograph was created in front of the Old State House, where this family has items on loan.  It was a beautiful day and this is a favorite spot. Lighting this portrait was a special challenge, due to the stark whiteness of the building.  It was important that the subjects be lit perfectly from the setting sun, without 'washing out' the Old State House."
